You can see it in all its glory without them in front on the previous page (120). Rolling Eyes

Things that aint so great, same doors that surely would have been replaced. Same pattern in the glass. Maybe next time they can try blue and white or something entirely different.

Edit might as well just post the link again:

funny when Billy finds his friend and she phones from the café and says she's oposite the pub that's being done up, how does she know, it's completely covered up and she's never been there before Confused

Usually yours would be good, but Kat is in the way... having said that, some people seem to like to look at that view of her.. Laughing

There was a last minute scene with Charlie and Patrick listening to the radio and hearing the announcement of the rise in pension age to 66 in the episode tonight. This scene had live style subtitles, all other scenes (so far) have normal subtitles. Seems strange they couldn't make 'proper' subtitles for this very brief extra scene. The audio description for that scene was simply "Charlie and Patrick are in the Mini-Mart". I wonder what was in place of that scene in the preview DVDs that the BBC send out, does anyone have access to these to check?

It is possible that the scene was not last minute at all and they just dubbed the sound of the radio on today or yesterday. The characters did not directly relate to what was said, but instead made a reference to bankers.

What about other broadcasters that show EastEnders close to the UK transmission date? (RTE?) I guess they get a version without the topical scene too?

They recorded a scene mentioning Michael Jackson's death and added it in afterwards. They've done it for other news related events in the past.

I have to say the new Queen Vic looks quite nice.
I wonder when the interior of the pub will be seen on-air? I imagine some press shots will be released too?

Since being initially shocked at the green yesterday I actually have to agree and say that I'm quite impressed with the new Vic! These promotional stills certainly do it justice and it's got that new 'Shimmer' on it. Really excited for the unveiling of the inside!!!! hopefully we wont be disappointed!!

I think the Beales is already being worked on. Have they explained this on screen? I thought initially it was going to be fire damage from over the road, but having seen a clip of Peggy's departure again there's no damage at all, at least no to warrant completely covering it up as it is on screen.

Also I presume the visible brick work inside the Truemans and the café is meant to be look fake as it already looks rubbish in SD!
