Such a touching end to Peggy leaving EastEnders, really sad yet lovely to watch the closing titles overlap onscreen as Peggy walks away.. Goodbye Peggy, after 16 years of great drama, comedy, tears, laughter, excitement and fantastic acting! I hope Peggy returns one day, as it looks like the door has been left open for her to make a comeback.. To be fair, she is not trying to conceal her identity from the viewers, she is trying to hide from some northerners who may never have met her before but will be looking for an EastEnder with black hair. I am sure the disguise is fit for the purpose that it was designed for.

I'm confused by the Darren / Jodie storyline, she's Jewish, so I'm assuming her parents are too. Darren gets himself circumcised so she will want to sleep with him, yet Max is sleeping with Jodie's mother, but there is no issue with Max being circumcised or not

what's going on with some of the sets in eastenders?
a caravan and cramped set with brown walls (edit: 'mercy's nan's house'??) look like they are from 1980s australian soap, they are awful and horribly lit, shadows all over the place. is this bbc cutbacks?
I'm a bit confused . . . I haven't missed an episode but I seem to have missed something.
Who has Alfie bought the Queen Vic from? presumably Roxie still actually owns it? I know she 'signed it over' to Peggy but then who actually owns it to sell it to Alfie? We didn't see Alfie actually have a conversation with anyone saying he wanted to buy it.
Why is the Beale's house and Janine & Ryan's flats' house all behind boardings? There has been no reference to why this is necessary.
On the boardings on the Queen Vic there are fly-posters advertising Summer Dance Events for June? Is that just badly thought out?
I just feel we are being asked to make a big leap in our own heads with the story jumps? Am I wrong, or have I missed something?
