I reckon that's what will happen, Dot was smoking so they wont get cover for the fire, hence Kat and Alife will buy it.

Dot brazenly flouted the law last night by smoking not one, but two cigarettes in a public place:

Anyway, thank God nobody died.

For someone who says religious people are mentally unhinged, you're very careful to capitalise the word God.

Oh... and IT'S NOT REAL!!

Got to be said ... the poignant ending of tonights episode, Peggy walking away as the camera pans back with the
burnt out Queen Vic coming into view on the left, the end credits rolling slowly, and the "Peggy's Theme" version
of the EastEnders theme tune ... if that had been the last episode of the current series, or even the very last
episode ever, I can't think of a much better way to bring it all to a close.

After being disappointed with lack of any deaths, etc last night... today's episode was a much better ending for Peggy. Loved that she could say goodbye to people. The closing music felt so dramatic and yet not intrusive as it would normally have been with Julia's theme.

Fantastic end to Peggy's exit, really sad to see Barbara Windsor go, but she deserves to take a break from all those
heavy and dramatic storylines through the past 16 years, I especially liked Peggy's own theme composed by Simon
May. It will be interesting to see what the future holds where the queen vic currently is, will there be a second pub or is that definetely It now for that area, I saw Kat & Alfie Moon returning to the show so I'm not sure if they might do something with it ?

Great ending, brilliant acting too from Barbara. It was good to see that Sam had feelings towards her mother and that Phil had some slight sense of care left.

Poor Pat had no goodbye though !

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear . . .

Only just over two hours after an emotional and poignant farewell to Peggy in tonight's episode of EE, I've just
seen Barbara Windsor appearing on an extremely corny advert for some crappy obscure gambling website!

Really Babs, couldn't you have waited a few months after your EastEnders exit before doing such daft TV ads!

Have they ever played Julia's Theme without the annoying cut into the normal theme?

I believe that ad first played at 9pm so barely waiting even a few moments.

It's not an "annoying cut", that's the way it was written.

It was on the break about 8.45pm on Corrie, first advert here in Granadaland.
