Have to admit I laughed at that bit too
The bit where the bar fell on Phil while he was robbing the till was hilarious

It was on page 3 of the forum when I bumped it. You hardly needed a search facility to find it. You could always try this if you couldn't find it yourself... http://tinyurl.com/37hm8mv
BBC HD have The One Show scheduled for 30 minutes, I wonder what they will do with the extra 5 minutes. Hope someone has told them there has been a schedule change.
It's not a schedule change - it's just a billing difference (!)
Everyone in the department will know the running times - it is just a case of semantics as to whether you round up or down to the nearest 5 minutes. BBC One will round down the billed duration of The One Show to avoid people missing the beginning of EastEnders - whilst on BBC HD they will probably just pad the difference with a promo.

in defence of somebody opening another EE post the search facility is not working as I couldn't find this topic last week when I did a search, and here it is

Considering none of them were more than about 20 ft from the door, it did indeed take a long time to evacuate !
I don't normally watch the show, my wife does (for reasons she's never really made clear). I actually wandered into the living room to see what the abnormal (even by EE's standard) level of raving and shouting was all about.
A good episode, think Peggy really showed emotion , I liked the "let it burn" at the end, it sort of shows that she "has gone but she hasn't".
All of the screaming and running about like a load of ants being disturbed was a bit stupid with everyone running in and out of the fire all of the time. Seemed to take everyone a while to open the doors!
I mean yes you're going to be shocked and scared but it was way too over the top with screaming forever in my opinion!

It was fairly obvious that the baby wasn't real last night, as all that was visible was essentially a bundle and the crying sound at times didn't seem to fit in with the level of other sounds. Understandably it wasn't safe to use a real baby, though I thought they might try to include a close up of the baby at some point.
Was the fire on the ceiling real? My initial reaction was that it was added afterwards (via computer) as something didn't seem to look right.
Also did anyone else notice the deliberate choice of (party) music prior to the fire? The line "gonna burn this goddamn house right down" was very clear, compared to when the music is just in the background.

They have been pretty blatant lately with some of the music choices...there was one where on character, I forgot who, was being told they weren't allowed to come to Janine's wedding, just as that Freemasons song reaches the line "you're uninvited..."
I think they must have a competition amongst themselves to see how blatant they can be with the choices...

All in all a good episode, but I am really surprised that no one died in the fire, especially with a load of the cast leaving. Looking forward to tonight's episode.
I think someone will die tonight I think peggy will get hit on the head by the sign as last night it cut to it a lot of times

Anything landing on Peggy's head will be deflected by the plastic wig she was so clearly wearing.

Dot brazenly flouted the law last night by smoking not one, but two cigarettes in a public place:

Anyway, thank God nobody died.
