Er it's just a theme party? Got nothing to do where EastEnders is set.

Digital Spy just reported EE's going HD (Not a fan of the show myself, just for people who wanted to know)

That had to happen really, what with the news of BBC One HD and Coronation Street going HD. I thought there was talk previously about them having to move the set before they went HD.

Oh dear, EastEnders is going down hill faster than Jack, I have never seen this happen before. You can clearly see the camera behind Lucas on the right behind the door.

Ahh continuity errors, although they could say its some heart monitor or something being left around

Proof then that EastEnders is now just run like a school play.

Why, because they got rid of her?

That's quite old news - BBC Studios and Post Production announced they were upgrading both the studio and location cameras and the recording and editing infrastructure to HD a while back.

(Sony HSC300 Digital Triax cameras, recorded into Ingex and PDW700 XD Cam 422HD Camcorders for location work I believe)

Let's hope they keep with 50i - it suits EastEnders far more than 25p.

Bryan Kirkwood has something of a reputation for ditching young actors who fail to behave properly, he axed 2 or 3 from Hollyoaks one of which was Devon Anderson. Not sure what any of that has to do with school plays but there you go.

I wouldn't worry, the HSC300 can't do 25p
