Apparently 1,000 people have wasted Ofcom's time by complaining that EastEnders was postponed on Tuesday night to make way for the 'trivial' matter of broadcasting coverage of a change of Government! Rolling Eyes

Knew there would be load of complaints, how stupid are some people?! It's a change of government people, EastEnders can wait 24 hours!

Maybe but they knew that EastEnders would not be able to fit into the schedule yet they continued to put up astons claiming it will 'follow this programme' when it almost certainly was impossible. Most likely to get good viewing figures for the coverage.

The oft-quoted example is of people complaining when Antiques Roadshow was cancelled to make way for coverage of Nelson Mandela's release from prison - arguable a less-important programme making way for a more-important event!
