They're still using the round square ident Very Happy

did catch the end of it too - was Bradley still in it?

Well I suppose they might as well get their money's worth out of the ident.

Bradley wasn't in it in the first place I don't think (neither was Stacey for that matter). Notice Peggy is on her own on the other side of the square - so can be easily cut out when she leaves. Looks like they're planning to use it long term, as I doubt it was cheap to do!

oh ok though Bradley & Stacey were - obviosuly not! Laughing

although they didn't use it tonight - strange?

why are people complaining at the insinuation that Lucas killed the dog, don't recall any complaints at the obvious fact he killed a person Confused

It sort of played and then the titles came in so suddenly anyway was a nice touch.
Is Jo Joyner ever returning to the screen?

Yes sounded much more clearer, shame it crashed into the theme itself. Another great episode this evening! Very Happy

It has been used before, it's a much more harmonised version of it... here it is in use when Nana Moon died: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpkYVb3gOjY

The "live" episode was shown here last night on BBC Prime/BBC Entertainment, so I was able to look out for the little slip-ups that you'd all so nicely warned us about.

However, many of them were probably edited out. Scott Maslem (?) fluffed lines didn't appear, although on many of his lines which did air, his sound wasn't so good (like the mic was muffled inside his scarf, or something). It was - therefore - difficult to notice any particular gaffe, such was the distortion.

In one scene between Ronnie and Roxie outside the supermarket, we could hear what sounded like the director shouting into one of the actresses earpieces (or someone elses earpiece), and there was also a few juddery camera jolts.

However, nothing really noticeable at all and, to the uninitiated, noone whould have known it were live. (They still showed the part where Ronnie walked into the supermarket, picked up a bottle of turpentine and walked out without paying!!)

Good effort, I would say. Bradley and Stacey played the proverbial blinder!

Scot Maslin's fluff was to tell Bradly he's been witholding information from the public, (police?) then he got his next line all mixed up and said "You're having his kid." or something like that (He's not going to live it down is he)

yes it was really well done considering they don't normally do that, now we have infilled scenes shot after the live episode but put into the previously recorded stuff like Max and Stacey's two hander next week

On reflection, Steve, you have jogged my memory and those fluffs did actually air in the episode I saw last night. Almost right at the beginning, right?

Correct. Just out of interest, did the episode previous to the live one have the different closing music? In the UK it had clips of people humming the theme tune. Did you also get to see the show that was made directly after the live one, 'EastEnders Live: The aftermath'?

Do you get ad breaks in the episodes you see? How is that handled? Do they just go straight to a break or do they use an 'End of Part One' board like they would have to do in the UK?
