Well, Den is going to be bumped off around that time, but before he's killed, the characters look back over the past 20 years, the golden years of EastEnders. Well, it's a cause for celebration when Den is killed!
Well, we know what their big 'anniversary' storyline is going to be, don't we?

EDIT: We definitely do now, thanks to O2CashinDavid.
Or maybe thanks to every bloody tabloid newspaper in Britain who has reported this, let alone many showbiz websites, The Sun even had a big headline, so for those who didn't want to know, would have seen the headline even if they were just glimpsing at the papers.
Can't see the phrase "Heres to the next 20 years!" being used that often!
Sooner or later the show just must be axed - probably when Lorraine Heggesey finally leaves BBC1 and someone who knows what quality is takes over.
I don't know why people go on about how bad EastEnders is? It still manages to pull in around 11 milion viewers (when its not up yet against Emmerdale special) and is the channel's top performer on a weekly average, hardly a programme they are going to dump now is it?
Tonights episode was great. All that drama happening in one episode. It would have been worse if they had spread that out over 3. What's happened to Nana Moon? What's happened to Paul? And what will Chrissie do now? Kill Den?

Thanks to this thread I just caught the last 10 minutes on BBC3 and Wow is EastEnders back on track or what. Three cliffhangers in one. Bring it on.
