Earth TV

Does anyone know any details regarding the semiregular and often quite enthralling run up to the top of the hour sequences on Sky Travel? Panoramic views of world locations are shown with weather and local tourism information in a graphic carrying a "Earth TV" logo, all set against a poppy, summery tune which never annoys me. Sounds sad but I could watch it all day. It's called "Sky World Live" on Sky Travel, and seems to be cut to and from at opportune moments to fill in between the programming. I was wondering - is it a channel in its own right? Who controls it? Are the cameras webcams? Plus are there any other people on here who like it or am I in a minority of 1?

There is an encrypted feed on Telstar which has Earth TV, I presume licensed broadcasters have the access to opt in whenever required.

Earth TV is now shown at certain times on BBC World as they approach the top of the hour, and it is carried on at least one of the usual video news agency feeds (APTN I think)

What about Ruth Mott, or was I the only person to watch Victorian Kitchen on UK Food?

I remember watching it on BBC Two! It was a great series - though I did feel sorry for her (usually) non-speaking assistant who got the really boring jobs.
