As always, the TV Listings magazines are coming out earlier that usual in the weeks up to Christmas:
Issue Release Date
24th - 30th November Tuesday 20th November (As Normal)
1st - 7th December Monday 26th November (1 day early)
8th - 14th December Saturday 1st December (3 days early)
15th - 21st December Tuesday 4th December (7 days early)
Christmas Double Issue -----
22nd - 28th December Tuesday 11th December (7 days early)
29th Dec - 4th January -----
Of course, some shops refuse the put the magazines out until the usual date (excluding the Xmas issue itself) to avoid people buying the week after next's magazine

Yeah, I was very annoyed that buying the radio times this evening I'd bought the one for not starting tomorrow but for a week tomorrow. That's no use - I won't be here then and we'll already have one at home!! That'll teach me to read the date!
Yes, they come out this early and end up with 'to be announced' in half the spaces!

Its the same every year. Most local newsagents dont put up the tv mags but the large stores/supermarkets will put them out. I think its a waste of time. All the newspapers will have the listings. I would rather have an article which will summise some of the main highlights over the festive period.

No I wouldn't. I want a magazine that will give me the
correct
listings and details for the programmes cos general highlights might not have programmes that suit certain people's tastes.
