Eamonn says farewell to GMTV

I tried to tape the last tape by setting a timed recording, but it got monged up. Has anyone got any video captures of Eammons last moments?

I recorded the whole show for some reason. Another 7GB of my hard drive gone.

I have to say i wasn't very overwhelmed by the whole thing - I actually thought it was quite 'cold'. Maybe it's because i'm a BBC Breakfast viewer (though I like to think I can appreciate Eamonn's legacy...)

Not nearly as emotional as Richard & Judy's final This Morning (and we knew they were still going to be doing the same kind of daytime show in a few weeks time!)

BTW, has someone hacked the GMTV website or something? The page simply says 'AFD Postcode Everywhere' - whatever the hell that means

It's certainly a week of leavers this week what with Simon leaving Blue Peter on Monday (tearful affair) Eamonn leaving yesterday and for those who care (Dr) Neil Fox leaves Capital tomorrow to which he's going out playing 18 years from his playlist. Apparently his first no 1 when he started at Capital was Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up!

Generic GMTV idents this morning, but new shots in the titles? Wonder why no new idents, if they have gone through the trouble of making new title shots, and why is Penny nearly at the end of the titles again! Bring her further forward! Anyone got a video of the revised titles?

No new titles planned at this stage, just a re-jig.
Special election titles made replacing presenters faces with party leaders.

Why does Fiona look so out of place now?

I hope no new look altogether is planned, this is the best GMTV has looked for ages, any revamp in the next few years is not needed! The only thing I would change is bring back the Sep 03 promotion logo in shiny red and white, the current box one is horrible!

Also just noticed on caps, they are not new shots, they have added more red, looks nicer. Shame about main ident though.

Have you got a new video player Andrew? It's just those pictures look a bit better than normal.
