Eamonn says farewell to GMTV

By now, we all know that the legendary Eamonn Holmes is leaving GMTV after 12 years of being with the Breakfast show. I was wondering does anybody know when exactly he leaves, will there be a special GMTV programme on the morning he leaves & what will be the replacement for him?

I can see him back reading the regional news before long, he's a such a useless presenter.

He always pauses. He's obviously leaving because he's getting morbidly obese and could fall asleep on air at any time. And that time when David Blaine came on.....jeez..."I wasn't getting any response from him" No! Eammon, you weren't enthusiastic enough!

I haven't watched GMTV for years . Is Jackie Brambles still reporting from LA?

She was but only just. She filed her last report stateside on Friday but she will be returning back to the UK to do some more GMTV material.

Apparantly Eamon's replacement will commence in September. Until then Ben Shepherd and Andrew Castle will fill in.
