Just being reported on Media Guardian that Eamon Holmes is to leave GMTV at the end of April.

NO! Sad He is really good and he's much more better than Ben Shepard and the rest of them. Some may find him irritating but he's funny and real, not fake like Ben Shepard, god I hate Ben Shepard!

No Fiona was on Des and Mel this afternoon and she said she is definately there until 2006.

Thank god. I think he and Fiona are awful and should have left years ago!

I find Andrew Castle and Kate much better presenters. I hope they get a leading presenters role.

That's next year. The sooner that shill-voiced, inner-thigh stroking bint goes, the better. Maybe they'll replace her with someone slightly less condecending (won't be hard!).

Too right, there was rumour about 3 or 4 years ago that he was going to leave, but as the amount he got was raised he said he was going to stay for longer. But you can tell since 2001 or so, that's he's been doing far less for more money, you can also tell that neither of them don't like getting up at 4.00am, but then again no-one does.

Though I give it to him, 12 years of getting up at 4.00am, I think the only other person who holds that record now (longer than TV-am's Mike Morris!) has to be Penny Smith, as she's been there since 1993.

Fiona just irritates me, Eamonn isn't too bad.

Not forgetting Lorraine, who probably gets up a bit later but has been getting up before 6am since the late 80s!

When Fiona goes I'd like to see Lorraine doing occasional GMTV Today appearances, if Ben can do GMTV Today and then ET then she could do GMTV Today and LK!
