After some of Eamonn's comments too this year - such as re 5G conspriacy theories - he might be starting to be seen as a 'loose cannon' so better to sideline him than risk him coming out with anything else risky on air.
If ITV are so concerned about not having anything risky on air, Piers should start packing his bags!

Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: "ITV has been open about wanting to diversify and make the show less white but they haven't tried to find anything else for them.
"Ruth will remain on Loose Women and they will do school holidays.
"But Eamonn hasn't been offered a role anywhere else on the channel, which is a real shame for him."
