More programme wise now, but apart from Shameless (and Hollyoaks I suppose) they seem to have ditched "First Look" episodes - instead premiering new episodes a few days or so before C4, with Dirty Sexy Money on Tuesday (Fri C4) and Desperate Housewives on Sunday (Wed C4).


Seems a strange move IMO - the "First Look" idea has worked pretty well for E4 over the years and has often bought up to a million viewers to the channel at 11pm at night.


Surely it's still a 'First Look' though?

I figured its partly down to HD? I'm assuming that the afore mentioned programmes are all HD. That's certainly one of the main reasons Skins has been broadcast on Channel 4 just days later, E4 presents sting and all.
