Is Scrubs E4's most repeated show at the moment? It's 2 episodes on 3 times per weekday - works out at every 6 hours (well almost bar the "break" for E4 music)

Talking of Friends - notice they're back to season 1 by Christmas - again! They seem to be as obsessed with rotating The War at Home before hand too at 7.30pm, while Scrubs seems to be fixed in the 6pm slot now. Wonder if they've picked up extra rights to earlier season now ABC1 has closed?

Scrubs was all over the place, aired on E4, Channel 4, Sky One, Paramount and ABC1.

ABC1 had the first three seasons (and indeed, made a big deal out of getting Seasons 2 and 3) exclusively, but I'm sure I've seen them appear again on E4 after the demise of ABC1. In fact Scrubs seems to have disappeared from all the channels mentioned above so whether Channel 4 have now secured exclusive rights for E4 is a matter for debate. They're now showing last season's episodes.

E4 is currently airing Season 6, having worked through all of Seasons 1-5 in the 6pm slot. Paramount was airing Scrubs at 2pm on weekdays the last time I checked. Sky One very rarely air it.

Unfortunately E4 butcher the episodes until they are almost unwatchable. I understand some material is unsuitable for the time slot but some lines and scenes are cut for unknown reasons.

Interesting that they've changed their font. The old one was very distinctive, so I'm surprised they've lost it. The new font is very 'in' at the moment, but it's not as instantly recognisable as E4's.

Very "in"?

I thought it was Clarendon, the same font as used on the 1960s ITV Schools countdown - but an earlier post confirms this not to be the case. The two sure look the same though.

But it raises an interesting debate about the future of custom fonts. E4 had two of such and now they appear to have junked them. Are they now falling out of favour?

Custom fonts aren't out of style because one channel decides not to use some that they've been using since their inception and now decide to use something else, you're reaching there.

One thing which slightly puzzles me about the new batch of E-Stings now is why they still end with "Channel4.com/EStings" when every other part of the rebrand now promotes e4.com.

Not sure if this is happening on E4 too but E4+1's DOG has been going berserk tonight. Changing from transparent to opaque, switching between 16:9 and 4:3 and even going walkies to the middle of the screen during Scrubs!

And a menu has just been played out announcerless.

I noticed that it was doing the same on +1 all the way through friends, though for a few brief seconds the e4+1 dog was transparent, in the right position and the right shape on a 4:3 broadcast, and then it changed back, and then moved to the bottom right somewhere, very strange goings on. And when they did get it right, it was squashed and stayed on throughout the adverts, before changing again during friends.

Seeing as this is an E4 thread, what's the name of the C/A on trailers that speaks "With a ruddy great loud voice". He's great, especially his recent one for BB USA "...She got so exhausted that she had to get rushed to ruddy hospital"

Ever since the DOG on E4+1 went mad, it's fixed the DOG aspect ratio. Laughing
