E4 V Festival

E4 are having terrible problems with the audio coming from the V Festival OB, there's really bad audio interference coming from somewhere...

Edit: Seems fixed now but for over 30 minutes there was what seemed like breakthrough of production talkback all over the entire audio output.

Yes that was really bad, Dave Berry even taking the mick a bit afterwards. Girls Aloud's performance was particular messy - I wouldn't usually complain about a bit of leg from them, but it really was sloppy directing and all over the place. Was as if the director couldn't bear to listen to them more than once as he wrote the script!

The presenter took the piss out of that too... said "that was Girls Aloud, not that you'd know cos the director didn't actually cut to shots of their faces" and that it looked as if it had been done on a mobile phone. I suspect the gallery was in chaos by then.

Yeh, and one drunk guy was so miffed (not sure if it was because the crowd were getting dodgy mics too or just because he hated them) he completely missed Girls Aloud with a bottle. Would have made great television if he had to hit Cheryl Tweedy
