E4 to be switched off on Election Day

I can't believe that people are actually discussing whether it's live or not!

Surely the edits and/or the loop point are when he walks out of shot?

2 hours before Darren flicks the switch back on E4. Not long to go.

I must admit the 'Thug Life' meme and Disco bits were amusing.

I'm actually enjoying this more than most programming on E4.

In Denmark, DR do a similar thing when their children's channel and radio station are off air overnight. The TV channel shows "CCTV" of the building and the guards/presenters sleeping, sleepwalking etc, while the radio station just plays snoring!



Also, loved the E4 ticker: "democracy is just like Big Brother (except more important)"... They wouldn't have said that a few years ago

I really don't understand why they show this at night, since its supposed to be a kids channel. So bizzare...

To be more creative than a still/animated off air caption?

I think it turned out to be far more entertaining than it should've been. The sad irony is I imagine some people would've been glued to it to see what Darren would do or what the ticker would say and didn't bother going out to vote...
