I know in it there's an overweight Grandma that ends up having to sell her body on a street corner after she can't afford to repay the loan. Very funny!

It's the sort of ad they play to fill time - best chances are probably around "First Look" episodes while E4 are waiting for the C4 edition to finish!

Just seen this Ad for the first time on E4 just now - what is it actually all about - is it just abit of fun/publicity for E4?

Can someone try and upload it to You Tube or the like? I work for Ocean Finance - I know the big boss would love to see that!

As I've always said, have you noticed on loan adverts how they only ever show customers from the waste up?

Not that I'm suggesting they've all got broken legs, but a bit of a coincidence don't you think! Twisted Evil

Voiceover Man Here. I am so glad you liked my little film. I made it for E4 after growing increasingly angry at the cynical exploitation by loan companies of those more vulnerable members of society, who paint a rosy picture of "easy to obtain credit" as a way out of financial difficulties.
As savvy readers will know, nothing could be further than the truth. We also wanted to take a pop at the very poor production values these loan companies employ on their TV ads - with their shiny suits and alligator eyed mateyness. They make me feel very queasy indeed. I really don't know how the executives of these loan companies sleep at night or indeed what they tell their wives and neighbours they do for a living. Shame on them. Is it any wonder that we as a nation, are rapidly sinking into a quagmire of over a trillion pounds of debt - dragging the financially reckless and the prudent down in equal measure. It should come as no surprise therefore, to learn that increasing numbers of people view personal bankruptcy as an acceptable way out of financial difficulty. The cycle - endlessly repeated. Borrow, spend (on consumer goods - never appreciating assets), can't repay, go bust, wait two years - start again. Yet when you look at the way the current incumbents in our governing political party conduct themselves, both in public and in private, together with, what can only be described as a Tsunami of consumer advertising and other inducements to borrow and buy, it really should come as no surprise to anyone that we are in such a sorry mess.
I really hope Carol Voderman watches E4. Somehow I doubt it. She will have been well rewarded for her efforts and will no doubt be too busy buying appreciating assets like houses and antiques with which to fill them.
Watch out for my next project on E4. This time, I'm going for the ambulance chasers.
