Looks like the problems started at 7.10pm. A frozen ad was on-screen for a while then the E4 announcer told us what is coming up later.

What makes you think there was no human involved?

Humans aren't perfect, replace the computer and transmission controller at E4 with a gallery of humans and the end result would still have problems and would be far less slick.

A good 10 minutes E4 was down for. The logo is still on +1.

E4 went down during the Hollyoaks break, then when Hollyoaks returned it was part two of the episode from a couple of days ago. Very annoying!

With regards of them rushing to Elstree for BBLB, would they have been able to extend the show if needs be? I know Dermot's always rushing the last caller to get off air in time but is BBLB done on a satellite feed so their booked slot would run out at that time anyway?

What's going on with E4 generally - about the third or fourth problem in the last few days!

It might muck up the repeats later on.
