Re the Salmon inquiry/Prince Philip cock up. I saw this on the BBC website under the ‘Scotland’ tab as it actually happened. One minute we were watching the inquiry, then the feed cut to what was rather obviously referring to the DoE, then black and silence for quite some time until we eventually returned to the inquiry feed.
At no time was there any sort of audio or visual apology, it was just as I describe above.
