Instead of creating my dream scedule, as I like the basic design of itvs, I have revised it, and created my perfect itv schedule.
6am: GMTV
9:25: Trisha
10am: The Wright Stuff
10:45: This Morning
12:30: Lunchtime News
13:00: Today with Des & Mel/Terry & Gaby
14:00: Classic Cheesy old 9:25 type gameshow, supermarket sweep/win lose or draw/chainletters, etc.
14:30: Moving Day (I watch it everday, don't know why)/Good Food Bites
15:00: News; Local news; weather
15:15: CiTV (as I prefer CiTV)
17:15: Richard & Judy
18:00: Local news
18:30: evening news
19:00: Emmerdale (Tues, Wed, Thurs); Tonight with Sir Trev (Mon & Fri)
19:30: Coronation Street (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun); Better Homes style show (Tues), local programming (thurs)
20:00: The Happy Hour (an hour of new comedy, imported comedy, quiz shows, and chat shows, like des o connor tonight would take the whole hour on wednesday, with shows like barbera sharing with new brucies price is right, etc.)
21:00: dramas/documentaries/films.(Usually documentaries Tues & thurs, dramas monday & friday, films wednesday).
22:00: Either for drama extensions, the ends of films, or nigh comedy/shows such as frank skinner show, harry hill's tv burp, tarrent on tv, etc.
23:00: Nightly news (yes it would return! And always start at 23:00:00)
23:30: A nightly entertainment show, think david letterman, jack docherty or live with chris moyles. In the slot that live with chris moyles should have been put at, when people come back from the pub, not before going out, it was really a fantastic entertainment show, the sort of thing missing from the schedules now a days.
00:00: Late programmes including things like Entertainment now, cd:uk hotshots, turn on terry, etc.
01:00: Daytime at Nighttime (the idea being for people that can't catch daytime programmes in the daytime, maybe for jobs or sleep, they can catch them at night.)
01:00: Yesturday Morning (a highlights package of the previous mornings shows)
02:00: Yesturday with Des & Mel (whole show repeated as currently does at night.)/Terry & Gaby
02:45: Trisha
03:15: Afternoon game show.
03:45: Richard & Judy
04:30: nightscreen
