The current series of Dream Team has just finished on Sky One and once again finished with another episode FULL of cliff hangers.

Rather than leave us waiting over the summer break and coming back to find out half the cast have been killed off they decided not to make it look so obvious and contrived and so started killing off the cast in the last few episodes to make it seem more 'believable' ! Laughing

Anyway the last episode in the series was full of high drama and emotion and is the best drama I have seen on TV all year. It really moves me emotionally!

I cant believe it is still 'stuck' on Sky One. I would like to see this on ITV1 or Five in primetime and it would show the makers of Footballers Wives how they shouldve made their programme.

Luckily this series of Dream Team finished last week but the next one begins next Sunday so there isnt long to wait.

I recommend everyone tuning in to see how the writers expell half the cast again whom dont want to take part in the new series. The first two episodes of each new series always deal with finishing the previous series stories and concluding how cast members have left. After that the series sets up some great storylines.

The closest programme I can compare it with is Dallas/Dynasty. Dont let the Football title put you off as it doesnt feature THAT heavily,

Actually that was a repeat! It originally finished in May. They wouldn't show the last episode of one series on first showing just before the first episode of the next, except when a show switches channels (Power Rangers did that in 1996)!

It's on Sky because it's made in house - they use televised football matches with digitally-recoloured kits for the football scenes. I am surprised no terrestrial broadcaster has bought it though, given its popularity.

Yes I know it was a repeat but I had never seen the last few episodes due to other commitments and so watched it for the first time last night!

Fletch is in a bit of quandry mind!
What does he do - stay with the only girl who he has ever settled down with (and married) even though she cant have kids? Or wait for Linda Block whom has a kid by him and deep down he still loves?

Gripping stuff!

I really like Dream Team so am looking forward to the new series - however I feel the last series wasnt so good mainly because Lynda Block left

The Dream Team is shown on FoxSportsWorld in the United States. They are showing the 2 or 3rd Series. Its hard to keep up with the program because they've shifted it around since the start of the Premiership season.

Linda Block is great! She looked a bit rough mind in the prison scenes!

I thought it was good how they introduced all the new characters in tonights episode.

And in the preview it looks like Linda Block appears in next weeks episode Very Happy

Ive just noticed that it is broadcast on Sky One Mix tonight at 20:00

Which doesnt really help me as Coronation Street and Eastenders rule in my house Sad

Corrie and Eastenders are both on terrestrial - so you can either watch Dream Team and tape the soaps, or tape Dream Team and watch the soaps, assuming you have a VCR!
