Grease has sold over £6million in pre-ticket sales already.

The real winner will be the show that sells the most tickets, after all thats what it's all about - not TV ratings.

Looking up the US version of the Grease show, they sold million of dollars worth of tickets ahead of launch - and then when the winners were unveiled, alot of people were asking for their money back.

I don't think though with Danny and Susan that's going to be a major problem as they've been pretty much favourites since week one.

All voting systems are flawed in that manner though - well, except maybe politics. I don't think an MP has ever been accussed of being elected on the strength of his/her looks!

This one good enough for you?

Not really, Jason - in TV terms it's the viewer ratings.

The West End show is quite a separate entity to the TV series...

However both shows professed to care about the West End show, and they are the lasting mark that the TV Show leaves. Joseph may have won the ratings war, but Grease is going to be by far the more popular stage show.

Where is each show at, and who has the bigger audience?

Also, has The Sound of Music now finished?
