the "understudy" did win. But I'm glad. Firstly nobody liked girlie blonde "Lewise" and Kieth, while having a superb voice probably looked too young to play a rugged role. Lee had talent, was very good looking and could definetly hold an audience for 2 hours. Lewis was in the bottom two virtually every week and was only in the final because ALW saved him the week before. In the end it was a case of picking the person you would pay money to see to get a good show and like Connie last year, the viewers got it spot on. Well done Lee and I really do hope Kieth gets a career from this also.

I much preferred the movie. It reminded me how we need a more modrn version of Grease.

Couldn't High School Musical be classed as a modern day Grease to an extent?

I'm sure I read somewhere that High School Musical's working title was Grease 3.

That was the actual film- not the show.

My prediction was almost correct. I said ADWD will win with over twice the audience, and it wasn't too far off.

Grease averaged 4.0m with Joseph averaging 6.6m. But then Grease peaked with 4.9m with Joseph peaking at 8.5m- almost twice the audience!

Not surprised at all - any news on Britain's Got Talent?

Actually, the three I wanted to win did win last night.

Always feel sorry for the person in second though - all the rest get a big farewell, while second is just nothing when the focus is on the winner. Graham Norton basically told Keith to bugger off last night.

Oh yeah I'm pleased the understudy won out of who was left. I'm just annoyed at why you would be allowed to enter this competition having already been working on stage in the West End.

Joseph peaked at 9.3 million at the end of the results show...

Lee will be known by everyone who go to see the show live on stage Very Happy .

Whereas, the audience who meander on down to see Grease The Musical in London will be like "Who are you??? Confused: " after the dismal performance in the ratings! Rolling Eyes

In fact, do you think anyone will be bothered to see the show anyway? Laughing

I think a lot more people would go and see Grease rather than Joseph.
