It seems the Break bumpers have actually been changed since the first set of the channel. There no longer have words and are just Logo on a background like the ones used for the idents.

Mind you I have been looking for two ident and im not sure if those two have been pulled.

Why are Drama showing 2005 episodes of The Bill in 4:3 when it was in 16:9 from 1998?

Apparently some of the DVDs of The Bill have 4:3 cuts/prints where they were originally transmitted in 16:9.

But that being said, not the first time this has happened on Drama:

Presumably they're still using the old 4:3 tapes they got back when UK Gold were still broadcasting in 4:3- remember they weren't in 16:9 until 2008.

They quite often showed 16:9 programmes as 14:9 as a 4:3 broadcast well after 2008, presumably because they didn't/wouldn't/couldn't get new prints for widescreen programmes.
