Have to say for FIVE this is not bad. What does everyone else think?

I only half watched the first half hour, we lost the picture and sound a couple of times at the start of part two. Only for a second or so each time. Did that continue throughout the programme?

I loved the promo for the show. The show itself for me is going great and feels right for a Sunday evening. They could have done with an audition show, which could have aired yesterday so we could familiarse ourself with the acts, but eitherway its ok. It's not The X Factor and I don't think it's ment to be that way.

The last time I remember a big show like this on Five was a talent show I think, was on Friday nights but can't remember much, if anyone does?

Nice set - shame about the show.

You might be thinking of that All Star Talent Show that was presented by Andi Peters and Myleene Klass. I'm pretty sure that's where Lembit Opik met the Cheeky Girls for the first time because I remember they were on the same episode.

Five have had some truly bizarre commissions over the years.

Did Five just use that "Don't Stop Believers" spin-off as a filler or something while they had technical difficulties or did they accidentally play it instead of the film?! It was on for about 7 minutes before they came off it!

'Don't Stop Believing' finished (not sure if it was early, late or on time). The Argos sponsorship played out and paused on the last frame for a few seconds. We then got an animated five logo for 30 seconds or so with the live CA apologising for technical problems a couple of times. They then played 'Don't Stop Believers' with 'The Wedding Singer' subtitles for a while, which ended abruptly and was followed by 2 different animated five logos and an ident.

Maybe the problem was with playing the adverts. What happened at the first break in The Wedding Singer?

EDIT: To answer my own question, nothing of note. Although it seems that the film is sponsored but there was no sponsor credit played out before the film.

3e in Ireland shows it and they were having a little problem. The logo went from 3e Live to 3e. Pre-recorded?!

I think this must be the first time a Five Show aired live on Irish TV, with coverage on Sky/UPC via 3e. I rather enjoyed it.
