DOGS

This thread is about DOGs. This is for discussion of DOGs only, it is not a thread to complain about DOGs, so no "I hate DOGs, they're useless". In fact, I find it easier to focus on what I'm watching when there's a DOG than when there isn't! Also, this isn't about animals.

This is actually about digital on-screen graphics, a logo or rating you see on your TV screen during a programme.

Would you care to elaborate on why you find it "easier to focus ... when there's a DOG"? What possible difference does the presence of a DOG make to your ability to watch a programme?

Because I'm so used to them that if I don't see one, I will look for one and that distracts me from the programme.

Some of us here like Computer Aided Titles and find them very useful.

My next door neighbour’s dog will not bloody shut up. I certainly don’t find it easy to focus on something with him yapping away.
