Ah, the good old days of regional programming! I think Border and STV, amongst others, used to show the Tyne Tees programme, while Anglia and Yorkshire had Farming Diary. I assume the south and westcountry had their own farming related programmes too.

I mind watching it once or twice, and during the ad break, all the adverts were for farming products. I seem to vaguely remember an advert for an ICI product.

Farming Diary was indeed Anglia, while Southern had Farming Progress. After the 1981 franchise change, TVS had Farm Focus and TSW had Farming News I think? UTV had Farming Ulster where a certain Eamonn Holmes started his TV career.

The three stations you mention are the only ones who took TT farming programme.
