It was Denise Coffey, who's still going strong. I remember it well, she would travel around in her "Hypersonic Mole", and she was very proud of its "Hypersonic Speeeeed!".

Yes that's her! Well remembered!

Now I just need to find LRTV and I will sleep well!

She was one of the cast of End Of Part One, which I'm sure would appeal to a lot of people on this forum.

I remember LRTV well too.

"Believe it or not, it's Punk's Spelling Spot..."

I'm sure I had it on VHS at some point because I was one of those kids that taped the schools programmes we used to watch in school. On occasion the teacher would forget to tape it herself and use my copy.

We were still watching schools shows "live" well into the 90s at our school"

Not that it was as enjoyable after the end of ITV Schools...

It's sad that I remember the whole rap in the theme tune.

I definitely remember that fat gameshow host kid with the garish suit and moustache! We were given some task to do in class based around his show.

Talking of 90s schools programmes, can anyone else remember one which had a woman who went round various countries with an underground drilling machine? I half wondered if I'd imagined it until my boyfriend suddenly bought it up a couple of weeks ago (he also thought nobody but him remembered it), but neither of us can remember what it was called.

Bloody hell....that popped into my head recently and I thought I'd imagined it!

There was another 90s BBC schools programme too with some bloke cycling around the Scottish countryside, which I can't remember the name of but I'll always remember thinking he looked a bit like Richard Whiteley!

Yes! Great find!!

It was great. I think the computer viruses used to sing too.

I think one of the episodes was about them celebrating the birthday of the channel?

I wish I had recorded them all at the time now, can't find it anywhere!

Wow you all have such great memories for all this kind of stuff! I've watched a few episodes of that Through The Dragons Eye on YouTube (more than a 30yo should admit to) and I don't think that's it.

Maybe it was something I half dreamed when I was a kid... It's annoying to not be able to remember more details to help me figure it out.

I also remember something about a main character who was a kid and they travelled to the other place where the story happens by going underneath their bed. Like there was a portal under there? Maybe that's me remembering something else completely though...

I remember one of the scenes in Through The Dragon's Eye where one of the characters melted really scared and upset me.

Watching it now, it's so cheesy it's hard to see it as being particularly scary at all.
Whataday and Meridian AM gave kudos

Sounds a bit like Potsworth and Co but that was a cartoon

Was quite suprised when I found out Potsworth and co was actually a UK co-production
