Hi all, i saw a documentary, i think in 2000, it was quite long in duration, it showed how the uk had changed over the last 50 years, i think it was tied into the queens jubille, but not in content.

ive scoured the net and cant find anything.

please send me info if you have any.

Wasn't it called something like "The Queen's Kingdom"? I do know what you're talking about, it was 90 minutes and had a lot of excellent graphic sequences showing how areas had changed over the last 50 years. It also had a very strange structure, as if they had intended to make a series but decided at the last moment to edit it into a 90-minute special by alternating bits from all the episodes.

it was an excellent prog... I think I taped it, probably still have it somewhere, but would need to dig out my VCR to watch it. It got repeated on BBC4 several times. It used excellent technology to show how things had changed and had a lovely nostalgic feel. Very well produced.
