Karen Gillan is to be one of Conan O'Brien's guests on his US late night talk show "Conan" on Thursday night.

We've got a special TARDIS-sized parking spot just for "Doctor Who" star Karen Gillan.
It's next to the sign that says "Wibbley-Wobbley Timey-Wimey Parking Only."

I'll post a videoclip of the interview shortly after the show *ahem* becomes available from certain sources!

In the mean time, here are her two appearances on TLLSwCF

Craig Ferguson is a hardcore fan of Doctor Who, with a Flight Control TARDIS and often a sonic screwdriver on
his talk show desk. His recent week of special shows taped in Scotland featured him using a BBC TARDIS prop
(or possibly an official replica) to "transport" him from the CBS studio in L.A. to a castle in Scotland.

But, you probably knew that already of course!

Mmmm, I like that. Quite subtle.

You know, I actually didn't realise what it was meant to be until now, I thought it was supposed to look like some old test card from America like this

The first three episodes of the season worked exceptionally well with simple storylines as standalone episodes.

Not sure I'd totally agree. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship (coincidentally by the same writer) had too much going on.

A Doctor Who episode about cubes and not one dig at ITV's game show?

I would have expected at least a cameo from Colin McFarlane.

Playing Doctor Muhahaha trying to take over the world! Oops, sorry wrong show.

Although it (the god-awful Hounded, which I had the misfortune to accidentally watch once) did nick, I mean borrow, most if not all of its incidental music from Doctor Who.

In sadder news, Dinah Sheridan, aka Chancellor Flavia from the Five Doctors, has died.

Also starred in the Railway Children film and in an ep of Jonathan Creek.

It says on the official website that there is going to be a brand new Doctor Who theme tune and title sequence for the upcoming Christmas Special 'The Snowmen' next week which will continue on with the series next year.

And also, a brand new Tardis interior too!!

Very Happy

Wonder whether the titles have been changed in response to the complaints about the awful coloured filters that were applied to the most recent episodes???

Either way, sounds good!! Very Happy

I assume they mean a new arrangement of the theme!

Yes, before the rioting starts, it is just a new arrangement - not a new theme.

Quote:
And fans of the famous Doctor Who theme tune needn’t worry… This new arrangement remains true to the original, written by Ron Grainer back in 1963, but on Christmas Day you’ll hear it as it’s never sounded before. This latest version is more thrilling and powerful but retains that slightly scary quality that remains stirring no matter how many times you catch it.

I assume Murray's just added another 25 players and few extra drum tracks!

to be fair to Murray I've found the music during the Matt Smith era far superior to that of Tennant
