Was that an old Don't Scare The Hare/Doctor Who cartoon board just before tonight's episode? What made them drag that one up?

I questioned that too. I bet the BBC would rather forget about that game show. Seemingly they don't!

With those titles, it looked more like 'The Power of BBC Three'.

Oh, that vortex this week...
There's a line in the last episode which sounded a bit off to me, as if they were trying to mention as many brands and make Doctor Who seem as current and modern as ever, which was something like:
'And all around the world, people are picking them up, and taking them home. Like iPads have dropped out of the sky. Taking them to work, taking pictures, making films, posting them on Flickr and YouTube. Within three hours, the cubes had a thousand separate Twitter accounts.'
Maybe it's just me, but it sounded like they'd deliberately tried to use all these names - name dropping, if you will.

That line struck me as odd too, but I was wondering if it was to do with the fact that the BBC can't be seen to advertise one "brand" so by listing three or four different ones they could get away with it? In the same way as showing a Kit Kat, a Mars Bar, a Kinder Bueno and a Cadbury's Dairy Milk is acceptable where just showing one branded bar of chocolate isn't.
