First time moment: since T. Davies, the continuity between the two series has been further bridged with the first, AFAIK, reference to Galifrey, as oppossed to 'My home planet'.
I searched for the old thread, but couldn't find it.
Found Tate's character very similar to Lauren in places.

1) Gallifrey mentioned for first time since it restarted...
2) Face of Boe seen in trailer, he's meant to say 4 words before he dies according to RTDavis and those are speculated to be "The Time Lords Live"

Actually, the speculation goes that the words are "You Are Not Alone" (according to RTD's 2005 Annual piece, they were written on the Doctor's memorial to the Time War by someone else). Which may imply the same thing, but also has other connotations.

Well i think that Gallifrey may be the new key word for the next series. As for the episode, i did not think that it was the best Doctor Who ever, ad in part i though it acted as the trailer to next week's Torchwood Finale, but it is good to see that Torchwood had not dissapeared in Doctor Who, unlike Bad Wolf, which was only mentioned once last series.
well 170 days sure fly by when you're having fun. A very good episode with catherine Tate doing ok with proper acting, as oppose to sketches, although she did sound like Lauren as previously mentioned, and also the her gran character at the end.
I wondered about opening the tardis doors in space as well, what happened to the viewing screen they had in the original tardis?
