I remeber reading somewhere that in the very first series of Doctor Who, the doctor said he could only regenerate 12 times.
Does anyone think that the BBC may ignore this and go on and on witht he series until everyone stops being interested in it?

Here's an idea:
His infieror /simpler half-human being body is able to reproduce itself more times, than pure time lords' bodies can.
if they don't specify exactly how many more times, the show is infinatly long..

Is that taken as gospel now?
Slightly off topic, anyone seen the ad on Jetix for the Dr Who action figures?
Are you the man who says 'Yes' or is that a very old joke ?

Well considering a large chunk of the audience probably never watched the original series when it was originally axed & the fact that I read some where they broke some "Doctor Who laws" in the first episode with Ecclestone I presume the regenoration will go past the twelve Doctor.
Either that or the jumping of Alternative realities in the last two episdoes of series 2 means he now has extra regenaration

No, what will happen that the last death of the doctor will be this giant ass final battle, waged across the universe that makes all the scifi before it look weak, beats up End of Eva for breakfast and takes it's business with the end of series 6 of red dwarf before beating it up sencelessly.

Is this the original exhibition that used to be around in the 70s and 80s, or is it a new one?
