I pressed the red button and watched for a good minute in awe.

It looks brilliant.

Had to hit the Sky button though because I couldn't help but think I was spoiling my future viewing of the series.

Still, I hit that button with a smile on my face.

Roll on tonight.

Well those clips are only from the first few episodes so God knows what delights we are NOT seeing!

It was excellent!! And great to hear the full theme at the end with the middle 8 reinstated!! Fantastic!

I thought Tennant was really good, after his 'cameo' in The Christmas Invasion I loved seeing him take charge and get stuck in. He also does the comedy bits really well.

Fantastic nod to the fans from BBC NI's AJA over the end credits... "Yes apologies for butting in over this FABULOUS music, its just to tell you that Doctor Who Confidential is starting over on BBC Three!" Nice one Aaron! Who fans had up in arms about CAs speaking over the extended theme music on the credits of the Christmas Invasion.

I think the nations' continuity came into their own this week - even BBC Scotland sounded interested for once, albeit I think they took the network script.

They should really be making more of the fact that David Tennant is Scottish. I don't know what BBC Wales did but they should be making a big thing of the fact they produce it. And NI can just wind up the nerds .

Nice start to this series - really looking forward to next week; those monks really do look like they'd be at home in a BBC ONE ident!

No joy on network with regards to the closing theme; talked for ages over most of it, including the whole of the middle eight; if I didn't know better I'd almost think it was deliberate...

You've got to see the Tardisode for Tooth and Claw, it's running now. It's amazing and it's not even in the actual episode but it should be because it's so damn good.
