According to the bookies it's either going to be him or Phoebe Waller Bridge but there was a sudden, out of nowhere surge on my suggestion Jodie Whittaker this week.

The BBC is missing a trick here, there should have a phone vote and had a 10 week contents to whittle it down..

They just shouldn't reveal it till the new series imo!

Yeah, It'd leak as soon as any outdoor filming is done. Filming's probably about to start, that's why they're revealing it now.

Chibnalls first season isn't until Autumn next year though so they could have held off filming until the new year. Shame they couldn't let the Christmas special be the reveal.

I think it's only a 2 minute clip like they reveal the Companion last year. It will probably feature briefly on BBC News after too.

We don't know exactly when series 11 is airing. But it WON'T be that late. They need to complete the season before Strictly starts, assuming they aren't moving it away from Saturday, so that means it can't start airing later than June. Filming can't wait until after Christmas.
