Not very long, and nothing much included, but it certainly gets me going, and we do hear a bit of Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor.

Opinions? This could be the best series on British television in a long time by the look of it.

Wuh?

Oh come on Stabby, I'm excited about it too but there wasn't enough of anything in that trail to say a thing like that.

True, but lets face it, most of TV in recent years has been pretty rubbish. There has been nothing that really stands out, it's all been reality shows, boring crime dramas. Infact i can't really think of a single TV show made in the 21st century on terrestrial television (with the possible exception of Coupling) that has actually stood out.

That's why i'm excited about this, because it does look like it will stand out.

True. And let's not forget sh*t revivals of classic 60's/70's/80's shows.... Wink

I'll say this much - the sight of the TARDIS de-materialising along with the tasty bit of CG at the start DOES look good.

I'm old and cynical and I've had my fingers burned when big budget remakes don't deliver.

You never know though - if this turns out to be as big an improvment as Star Trek The Next Generation was to its predecessor then I'll be happy as a clam.
