Doctor Who (series two / s28)

I don't get it.

I liked CE's costume, it was mysterious and the simlicity of it lent itself to his first apperance in "Rose" and the rest of his character. If someone in OTT Colin Baker style was to grab her arm it simply wouldn't work. He was a very tormented Doctor, he's killed his race afterall so he's not going to go for something bright and colourful.

I'll assume you meant to add "please"...

Tennant actually looks like the doctor, which eccleston never did in that black leather jacket. With the cybermen coming back as well, I have high hopes for the new series.

Can anyone say stuck in the 1950s? When I read pinstripe i assumed it would be brown on white, not the other way round. The trainers are a good touch though, and he does look a bit more Doctory than CE. However we cannot compare doctors, I mean, try comparing Colin Baker's clown outfit with Jon Pertwee's dandy strides.

SJS coming back - yippee, tho personally I would have preferred Katy Manning. Cybermen - yippee - maybe we won't be made to feel sorry for one in a yucky 21st Century touchy feely way - I'm as liberal as they come but please let the Dr Who monsters be EVIL, not pathetic. And Tony Head? Well if he isnt the 11th doctor in waiting I don't know who is.

Yeah yeah I'm hoping Tennant lasts marginally longer than CE too.

well to be fair it was only the one, the other half a million murdered everyone in numerous cool ways (I'm thinking of Lynda-with-a-y and the window).

I would have also loved Katy Manning to make an appearance, but we have to be realistic. Katy Manning looks like shes had so much plastic surgery, botox or whatever. She now just looks terrible. Elisabeth Sladen is still gorgeous looking!

Hmmm... the shoes make it work for me too, but I still prefer CE.
