I do like how all the snippets and teasers are revealing absolutely NOTHING new compared to what used to be revealed during the RTD years.

Even though I hope it's not the case, the cynical side of me says there may not be much new. On that new video explorer, Steven Moffat says that they write-off Big Ben - again.

As a non-fan here is a question which has baffled me since about half past six - why does Doctor Who only have one outfit (per doctor!)?

During Hartnell's reign he used to change costume every so often (The Reign Of Terror & The Crusade off the top of my head) also earlier in Troughton's reign he also changed costume every so often (The Highlanders for example, although only photographic evidence remains). Pertwee had about a dozen different variants of the same costume & Baker about 4-6 variants. It was only when JNT took over that it became one costume per Doctor, although Fifth, Sixth & Seventh had changes, later in their reigns. Ninth changed T-Shirt every so often & Tenth had three costumes (Brown with light blue pinstripe, Navy Blue with Brown (?) pinstripe & the Tuxedo seen in Rise Of The Cybermen, Lazurus & Voyage).

Eleventh seems to have two variants so far, Tweed jacket & trousers with Burgandy bow tie, braces & wiggly striped shirt & a royal/navy blue variant.

Anyone see the clip on Johnathan Ross last night? Didn't care for it much, I have to say, but that might be because Matt Smith was reminding me very strongly of someone in that performance (but not strongly enough for me to remember who, strangely).

Yep, apparently at the premier they still used the old titles, so as to keep the new ones a secret, I wonder if the "temporary" ones will appear as a DVD extra?

I doubt it... who'd want to see the RTD intro with a new logo slapped ontop. In 2005 they used music from the 1970's for the press showing, so it's nothing new.
