Had a reply to my complaint:

Thank you for your e-mail.

We recognise the strength of feeling that has been expressed and are taking steps to ensure that this mistake will not happen again.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact us with your concerns.

You should reply and ask them why on earth an IPP clearly designed to play out over the programme was created then.

Well you can take the reply two ways really; 'it should not have gone out' as in it was a mistake or as in it was an error of judgement and should not have gone out in hindsight.

I'd go for the latter.

Now that was more like it - a couple of odd edits in the first half, and the music when the gravity failed seemed strangely subdued (are they trying to keep dialogue clearer after the last couple of episodes?), but... a crack in time, Amy's countdown, Angel Bob, and hints about River that have made me change my mind about the wisdom of bringing her back - all great stuff. And a good episode for Matt Smith in particular.

I think Doctor Who should be renamed Doctor Screw after the ending scene of tonight's episode Laughing

Great episode.

And the current theory on other unnamed forums is that the Doctor at the end, isn't the same Doctor who left his jacket behind... because he had his jacket again [which he stole from a Hospital, so won't be in the TARDIS] after he'd left it.

What do we think?

I think he probably found a similar one somewhere in the TARDIS wardrobe.

The thing is, you've actually come very close to something else that was interesting in tonight's episode, but missed...

The Doctor left Amy behind, rather abruptly, in the forest. Then he seemingly returned and asked her to remember what he said to her as a child. But he was wearing his jacket!

The BBC didn't overlay an apology for last weeks interruptions over the final scenes then! Be interesting to see if that crops up on Points of View this week (assuming there is one tomorrow).
