Sure. Wink

No really! more of a feeling of un-easiness throughout.

No, I know what you mean. It did feel a bit dangerous. A great episode! If we remove last week's blooper (Wink) then this series is coming along very well in my opinion.

In all honesty I have never found the Dalkes that frightening, I suppose been 26 years old & my only brief memorys of Who are the final years of McCoy & the McGann movie, I never found them scary at all.

However after watching The Tenth Planet a few years back, I find the Cybermen very creepy and a more frightening monster.

When it comes to the weeping angels however Shocked

Well I thought the opening sequence involving sending a message through time in tonight's episode, was some of the cleverest writing ever seen in Doctor Who. Very Happy

It was pretty good, but there's been cleverer - what about the Doctor's "conversation" with Sally in Blink ? That was clever.

A good episode - far better than last week - though one or two things jarred for me. I think it was just down to the directing/editing, such as when Amy thought her hand was turning to stone - there was no lead-in to that point, and again I was left with the impression that an hour-long episode had been edited down to 45 minutes.

And the "cliffhanger" - though it gave the Doctor a great speech - didn't really feel like one. Yeah, the angels were coming, but then we were given the first half of the resolution, and I think it's fairly obvious what's going to happen.

Which was also written by Moffat.

Thought it was an excellent ep tonight, first time watching Dr Who that I have gotten creeped out (not scared) watching it...

I know what you mean, creepy enough to make you grin thinking "ooo this is gonna be good!"

Other than Amy repeatedly having something in her eye after looking the Weeping Angel in the eye?
And Amy 'weeping' stone?

Oh, no, I didn't mean like that - just that all we got was the Doctor going past and Amy standing still - it just seemed very quick, like a few extra seconds had been cut out. I'll keep a dusty eye out for that scene on the repeat and see if I can pin down what seemed wrong with it.

Interesting bit on Confidential about the eye dust - first they had a tube up some guy's arm as a test, then they put a patch over Amy's eye with a pouch of dust, then in the end most of the dust you see was CGI anyway! I think the practical effects bloke looked a bit embarrassed about it.

Wonder if Amy will turn out to be a 'series' of Amy's & the Doctor 'being late' coincidently concides with Amy 'upgrades'?

There would've been several versions of Amy inbetween the Doctor meeting her younger child self & meeting her adult self.

Her 'wedding day' would 'upgrade her' from Girlfriend 1.0 to Wife 1.0.

The Doctor has just delayed her 'upgrade'!

(I know it's crap, but remember that joke!)

Sorry if this has already been picked up but did anyone else notice the small error on Saturday's episode? As River was floating through space towards the TARDIS, look for the St John's Ambulance logo on the exterior door. Either it was missing or I need glasses!

Well that's Saturday nights ruined from now on! Very Happy Looks like they used an old CGI model - none of the window panes were blacked out either. And there seemed to be some more continuity errors with the blacked out panes from the inside, too - in some shots they aren't blacked out, or only one side is, or both.

Right, off to get a life!

I never noticed TBH until I read about it on Gallifrey Base, strange really, IIRC this was one of the first (if not the first) stories to be recorded which may explain the error with the CGI Tardis, however you'd have thought someone would have spotted that before it was ready to air Laughing
