You sound more sensible than how I have pictured you in years. Last time I heard you in person you sounded like a little bratty kid (sorry), and that image has sort of stuck with me, but I will see you in a much better light from here on out.

All I can say is wow. Music is a refreshing change and the titles look brilliant (albeit slightly more sinister than the previous incarnation). I thought both Matt and Karen were brilliant and I loved the way we all thought Amy was a police woman because of the trailers and turned out to be a kissogram! The story was also very good. This looks like it's going to be a brilliant series.
Is there one on the 2005 and 2008 version? = Middle eight?
There wasn't on the 2005 series, but there was on the 2006 series (starting with The Christmas Invasion - technically 05 I know) and all subsequent series.
It really was superb! Surpassed my expectations because I do think I went into it being a little negative and feared it was going to change beyond all recognition - just because it could. I wasn't disappointed though, it really was a great intro episode. And I was also in at the fishfinger custard moment!
Wasn't sure about the new theme and titles but after seeing them again I do think they're brilliant. By the end of Series 4, they had beefed them up and it all seemed a little over the top at times. Yes, this theme is now beefed up - more than ever perhaps but as it's a complete re-recording I feel it works. The 60 second version is excellent and I hope we'll hear that on the credits from next week. It's not unusual for the "Coming Soon" type segments to have their own music and then cut to a shorter mix of the titles. But I guess we will only find out next week if the middle eight remains.
No expert on this sort of thing, but if Amy was getting married the next day, wouldn't she have still been wearing an engagement ring in the last scene?
She took it off when she went to bed (obviously )

That's convienient.
Until they get back to 'present day' Earth, the Doc's none the wiser!
It was Aaron Alexander. What a breath of fresh air that was. An acknowledgement of the fact that people don't like announcers "yabbering" over the end credits.

Well done and thank you!
*facepalm* Will I ever get my BBC NI announcers right?
Wonderful use of graphics of many kinds in the episode, I'll say no more.
