A couple of theories that have just been bought up on Gallifrey Base, 1) That it's been "overlit" for the Radio Times photoshoot, 2) That the lighting colours for the set may change every so often.
However it remains to be seen if any of this is true of course

Yeah I think it's been overlit for the 'Radio Times' shoot. It's a fantastic set, but with that light it has no atmosphere. The shots with Matt Smith and companion do look a lot darker and make the set look a lot better.

Yeah there's no way the new theme will sound like a remix, it'll still be orchestrated seeing Murray's involved.
As for the TARDIS, nice to see his old seats still propped up beside the console. But I think they'll have to bring down the brightness for telly. Hopefully the lighting is for photo purposes...

Could be... I thought the title music was a bit weak, and the opening and closing credits seemed to whizz by - no middle eight!
Other than that though, very little to complain about - certainly my favourite season-opener so far. I watched The End Of Time earlier today and began to wonder (not for the first time) how Matt Smith was going to manage to follow David Tennant, but I don't think he's going to have too much trouble.
Fishfinger custard won me over.
