The Mirror has an article claiming that Tosin Cole and Bradley Walsh are leaving. It was confirmed to be true on Zoe Ball's radio show this morning, though I don't see that news on the BBC website yet.

Well it is a bit overdue for a companion reshuffle, although I think most fans would rather Yaz (the police officer who never does anything police-officery even when there's a perfect opportunity in the story) went than Graham. As for Ryan, well... Ryan's just this guy, y'know?

His character development last series revolved around his dyspraxia and how it affected him. It was mentioned a few times in the first episode especially and throughout the series. There was also the way he coped with Grace's death and how his relationship with Graham was affected as a result. (I assume I don't need to put the death as a spoiler since it was ages ago now!) These have now come to a conclusion and haven't been replaced with anything so he seems to now just be 'a man who travels with them'. Shame for Tosin really as I'm sure they could have written a much more interesting character for him.

I predict Graham will choose to settle down with Ravio (Julie Graham's character) as that was hinted at in Ascension of the Cybermen, and Ethan will become a companion, which will be an interesting dynamic due to his technical knowledge and piloting skills.

Am I the only one who didn't think this series was anything special? I liked the last series but this current one hasn't done much for me.

I also haven't really warmed to Yaz or Ryan, but I do like Graham but then I liked Clara and not many did so what do I know 😂

I agree and kept thinking to myself... if I was a ten year old again, would I be interested?

The answer was no!

No-one seems to have any fun any more. Even if you thought Clara was annoying (some did, I didn't) you got to see her and the Doctor having fun most of the time. The closest we seem to get this year is the Doctor saying "Hey gang, remember when we did <fun thing> offscreen?" and then they all nod morosely.

I personally loved this series and what an ending.

I think Jodie is superb as the Doctor and I like her "fam". The stories in this series were, in my opinion, the best since perhaps the first season of Peter Capaldi.

Same, I haven't enjoyed a series like this for a long time.
