Here's a radical idea! Instead of showing OFAH next week, why not repeat the 1996 movie of Dr Who? Especially now that interest has been revived....it would even help new fans understand who the Master is if he ever came back. I don't believe it's been shown since its first transmissiuon in May 1996.

Well looking at the Doctor Who forums, they didn't seem too concerned about any of the kisses, yet when the TV Movie with Paul McGann came out and there was a kiss in that, they were fuming haha.

Since this new series of Doctor Who has been such a huge success, and given the fact that Dick 'n' Dom's p*ss poor
revival of "Ask the Family" has been scrapped after one series, I reckon the BBC could get away re-running the entire
series again in the 6pm slot on BBC TWO. Perhaps they could also take the opportunity show the 1996 TV movie
again, as a forerunner, and for the benefit of those that haven't had the chance to see it yet.

To be honest I think it was pretty stupid showing the countdown into Doctor Who as it just ended up giving away everything that was going to happen. Baring in mind the amount of other spoilers dotted around the Beeb I thought at last I was going to be safe from them. Fortunately I changed the channel and switched back at the beginning of the ident and then watched the countdown afterwards.
Disapointing ratings - I bet the BBC are fuming with all of the promotion. However I think it will be interesting to see what the viewers would be if they showed the whole series again on Saturday Night over on BBC TWO.
A really good episode though.

Could someone be kind enough to capture the regeneration sequence about to play on BBC 3?
My vcr has just chewed the tape I was going to use.

If you go to www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho there is a clip of said re-generation scene in the Video Player.
Just turn your volume down...trust me.
