What a great episode, fantastically well done. I never would have expected that by the end you would feel a lot of pity for the Dalek.

I would have watched Doctor Who Confidential tonight on BBC THREE... but the spam in the corner of the screen annoyed me too much.

Now clearly it's entirely unrelated, and I apologise for going off-topic, but have you all seen the new BBC Complaints website? No? Oh, well it's at www.bbc.co.uk/complaints and if you see anything you feel strongly about, you should let the nice people at BBC Blackstaff in Belfast know how you feel, so they can pass the information on to the relevant people.

Well I still enjoy the "childrens jokes".

Fabulously fabulous episode though. The Dalek reminded me of Beth Hart

Brilliant. Fantastic. Wonderful.

Another superb episode of Doctor Who - why oh why can't the BBC be as imaginative and creative with the rest of their drama output, instead of them mainly being set in hospitals, doctors' surgeries, police stations, etc etc.

As someone who used to watch the old Doctor Who series at time of transmission, I had a happy and 'post-modern' smile on my face throughout that entire programme.

Interesting moment when the Doctor was shouting at the Dalek to just die, and it told the Doctor "you would make a good Dalek".

Wasn't expecting to feel sorry for the Dalek, it was all very well done.

Yes another brill episode,

But will there be more Daleks I wonder?

If he travels in time then surely they will be.

Apparently not. Apparantly this was just a thing to get people interested in the new series as THE DALEKS ARE BACK. But apparently this will be the last we see of them. At least for a while.

elevate is exactly what it says - there was a clip on Richard and Judy

Yay, I was right. That was rather good. I'm not sure if the "normal" speech suited a dalek, and this is seemed to grasp linking the sylables. Still FAB

Totally pathetic, the whole episode - never, repeat, never humanise a Dalek! Daleks should be, to quote the Mary Whitehouse Experience a 'crazy ape-sh!t killing machine'. Descended into a USA B-movie.....

2 out of 10 - for the new Dalek hardware.

Sorry, but historically there's already a precedent......

Back in 1967 Patrick Troughton's Doctor gave three Daleks 'The Human Factor' to such an extent thay stopped trying to exterminate him and settled down to a game of trains instead!

If it was good enough in the sixties it sure as hell can be reworked with a new twsit today - much like the new series itself in fact!

A totally amazing episode. Such a simple storyline but with great acting, script and settings.

10/10
