It's definitely being tied into the storyline and there's a sneaky reference to the 'Bad Wolf' thing which has now cropped up in both The End of the World and Aliens of London/World War Three.

I really hope the Daleks get the highest ratings of the series so far.

I also hope that the BBC and Terry Nations Estate can reach an agreement on a return for the 2nd series, and hopefully we can see Davros then to.

I know this is comparing apples and oranges, but the latest episode of Doctor Who got three times as many viewers as the latest episode of Star Trek: Enterprise . And that had scantily clad Orion slave girls!

I keep thinking that whoever designed the daleks must have been going though their kitchen cupboards, as on the front they have a plunger and a whisk!

I've tried my damnedest to stay as spoiler-free as possible and there really wasn't a need to post this picture before the episode aired.

I'm very, very sorry- I thought everyone knew that- it's the name of the episode after all. The picture is taken from the BBC TV homepage and it's all over the Doctor Who page obviously...you would have known within three minutes of the start when the episode title comes up.

Anyway- sorry again.

I think we all knew that the Dalek was going to climb the stairs, it's just that the picture kind of spoils the impact it was going to have. That's specifically why I've tried to stay away from any and every site that might contain such an image.

I know, it doesn't really matter now that I've seen it, but the impact is spoilt quite a bit. I still can't wait to see if the Dalek cries out what it's been rumoured to when it starts up the stairs...
