Doctor Who: The New Series

Anyone noted that UKTV GOLD are running one adventure each from the first 7 Doctors all day until 7pm(surprise surprise!).

How come 'The Daemons' is being shown in black & white?

They do have a colour copy now, since 1992, because BBC2 have shown it & it was released on VHS not long after.

(I'd ask this at the Dr who Restaration Team site, but since they've gone all a**ey about using nicknames on the forum, I've boycotted them, espicially after I praised the release of Ambassoders Of Death, & some obnoxious little twerp 'told me off ' for using my nickname. He had a 'funny name' too ! Something 'Waste Of Space' or summat !)

Ambassadors Of Death!?! I love that one! The Pertwee era pre-dates The X Files with all those government conspiracy storylines. Slightly annoyed that they're not showing Caves Of Androzani

You also get the feeling that he's Elisabeth Sladen's favourite Doctor by the way she perks up when she talks about him.

I know this is a silly question but this is directed to those of you that downloaded the countdown screensaver from the Doctor Who website. Do you know if it will do anything when it reaches zero?

Well I've seen it and I wasn't that disappointed.

I don't think it will be as successful as the original and the 'real' Dr Whoers might hate it - but it was alright.

Effects are good.... but please BBC turn down the incidental music!!

I set my clock ahead and, well, nothing much happens. When it hits zero the countdown disappears but the rest of the screensaver goes on as normal.

Technical fault five minutes in - someone left Graham Norton's mic switched on!

I hope this is the end of Graham Norton polluting the show.

Not to mention how, before it began, the clip of the TARDIS and fire crashed into a Hustle trailer without picture that probably wasn't supposed to play out.
