That was the best Doctor Who episode (since the rebrith) I simply loved every moment of that. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

That was a stunningly well made episode. It was immense in every detail. I'm also warming to Martha. However, I still like Rose more.

Great episode of Doctor Who, good to see they gave Shakespeare a bit of a character.

Wonder what the Doctor has done to upset Queen Elizabeth I Confused Laughing

Hopefully all will be explained later in the series

I'm struggling not to say "you haven't seen many New Who eps then", and so I'm compromising by saying it this way Wink

Seriously, the core plot was a retread of Unquiet Dead, with the added "this inspired Macbeth it did" cringe-bit (and I cringed a lot during this ep - not least any time Witches 2 & 3 were on-screen and every time the Doctor "inspired" a Shakespeare quote). Give me Girl in the Fireplace or Dalek any time...

Maybe there's been a timeslip and the werewolf event moved backwards and with a different queen.

Or it could be to do with

Just out of interest, who wrote this episode? I get the feeling it was a Russell T Davies-written episode, had the hallmarks of one. Especially the 'gay' joke with Shakespeare Laughing

I thought after Torchwood that i would find it really hard to get back into it but the lines in the last show were classic. I would love to see the Doctor and Martha cause a big scene and Torchwood turn up and Captain Jack is there . . . again. Maybe at Christmas? By the way was it tardises (I don't know what the plural of Tardis is!) at the end of the last show?

I just feel that's a bit predictable.

TARDISes

Well, it was a TARDIS, extemely likely it was the Doctor's TARDIS, though we don't know.

Well if (for some stupid R.T.Davies reason) the Doctor is now the last of the time lords (meaning Paul McGann 8th Doctor must have witnessed this after the film) I would say no Time Lords = No other TARDIS's
